Smibs Network Personal Profiles

The Personal Profile is your home base in the Smibs Network – designed to display what’s important in an elegant,
efficient interface. Others can connect with you, extend their friendship, and invite you collaborate
with them on an upcoming venture.

First impressions

The user’s name, username and Primary Job or Association appear beside their personal photo at the top of their profile for quick and easy reference.

Profile view

By default the personal profiles will open up to a General view of the contact’s information. Switching to the Portfolios or Projects view gives you a closer look at their work – for example, a graphic designer might upload some examples of their recent website design.

Connect and collaborate

When an individual fills out their personal profile they can select their ‘Interests’. Their professional and networking interests are displayed for quick reference so you can easily search for new talent for your upcoming projects.

Current jobs & associations

This tab displays the individual’s various jobs and associations. In addition to their primary job, the individual might be a member of a board or of the local Tech enthusiasts group.

Get started making friends!

This area of the personal profile displays all of the actions you can perform when surfing a Smibs Network member. Click Connect to befriend an individual, or to add them to one of your Doorbell contact lists. You can also click to invite the individual to a team in one of your companies, to collaborate with you on an upcoming project!

Get in touch

Clicking on ‘Contact Info’ brings up all of the contact information the individual has selected to share on their public profile, such as their phone numbers, email addresses, or mailing addresses. If you add them as a Friend or a Network Contact, this information will automatically be uploaded into your Personal Doorbell or selected company Doorbell.

Get to know the available talent

Individuals can upload portfolios of their photography, graphic design, painting, and many other kinds of creative work. You can easily browse their professional or personal portfolios to get an idea of their talents and interests.

Find the skills you need for your next project
