  • Is there a backup for my data in case of a crash?

    You have nothing to worry about. Our online management software is backed up daily and has various secure sites to safeguard your contact lists and other data. In the event of a catastrophic failure, we will be able recover the data from the back-up.

  • Are the Smibs Network and Doorbell software secure and confidential?

    Absolutely. Our software and network are completely secure -- we have done everything to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your private information and contact lists.

  • How can I contact Smibs if there is a problem?

    The best way to reach us is through email at support@smibs.com. We routinely check and return enquires with very little wait time. I suppose you could mail us your inquires, but who would want to wait that long?

  • Is the software available in other languages?

    Currently English is the only available language, but we are working on releasing the Smibs Network, Personal Contacts and Doorbell in other languages.

  • What Internet operating platforms will the software be able to be run on?

    Our website supports virtually all major internet operating platforms (Firefox, Safari, etc.). Our network and software operate on Internet Explorer 7 and above, but not Internet Explorer 6 and older. If you are experiencing any operating difficulties, please contact us at support@smibs.com

  • I am having problems signing in. What’s going on?

    Could be a few things. First, make sure you are using either your chosen user name or your E-mail address. The login is case sensitive, so ensure you type in your information exactly.

    You could also be typing in the wrong password. The password is also case sensitive, so ensure you type in your information correctly. If you are still having problems with your password, click on the ‘I forgot my password’ link. With your prompting, your password will be reset and a new random password will be sent to your E-mail address.

  • I have just signed in, but there was an error or a flaw. What’s going on?

    We have worked diligently to ensure this sort of thing doesn’t occur. If you are having technical difficulties, try to login again or refresh your page. If there still are problems, immediately E-mail support@smibs.com.
